Test Engineers Apply
Experienced Test Engineers with a proven record within software testing is required for our software testing consultancy. Candidates for these roles should be Degree qualified and have at least 1 year experience of testing financial services and/or Web based applications. You will be a part of a team of Software Testers analysing and interpreting business requirements and business processes. You will have prior experience of end to end testing of applications. Your role will also involve test planning, test scripting, creating test cases, preparing test data and defect management. This requirement needs good understanding of SQL for database access, Quality Centre or Test Director, and prior experience of testing Web technologies.

Test Manager (Hands On) Apply
Mission Assurance and Testing are looking to recruit a Heavyweight Test Manager to primarily work on site in Bristol on one of their major client sites. You will be responsible for Project managing a team of Test Consultants or Analysts to generate and execute product functionality tests, identifying and reporting issues as part of a cross-functional project team. You should be able to generate high level estimates on test efforts and approach based on the Baseline Produce Requirements. Turn high level estimates into plans that detail exactly what the consultants will need to do. You will be required throughout the project to review how the test coverage fits into the changing requirements, business needs and defects found. Using the test strategy you will identify the work breakdown structure that details exactly what test consultants will do and produce a document that describes this using the standard test plan templates You will also need to write tests in line with a specification to test a piece of functionality, identify and investigate ambiguities in tests. Identify hardware, network and operating system requirements from functional specifications and knowledge of customer requirements, liaise closely with the Environments Manager, and secure necessary resources directly where possible. We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in Test Management, ideally have come from a Consultancy background. Test Team Lead Apply
Mission Assurance and Testing are looking for two experienced team leaders to join our Consultancy Practice. We are looking for experienced Test Team Leads with at least 5 years experience of formal testing methodologies and procedures and at least 3 years leading small teams. You will be working with the V Model methodology, must be able to understand system business requirements and translate into test cases. Understanding of data creation and manipulation for testing (including SQL for database interrogation). Experience of testing on CRM and browser based platforms. Experience of automated test management and tools - T-Plan advantageous. Familiarity with Access databases and ISEB. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be client facing. You will be based predominantly on one of our major clients based in Liverpool, but should be able to travel nationally if required

The Resourcer has primary responsibility for resourcing candidates and giving sales support to the sales teams. You will get involved with sourcing candidates and matching to job specifications, building and maintaining relationships with candidates which in turn will generating sales leads. There are other administration functions that need to be performed so a degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required. We are looking for motivated, self starters who are confident communicators especially on the phone. You should be able to display the ability to multi task, work in a fast moving environment which requires constant reprioritisation. Previous experience of working as a resourcer within a recruitment or in-house organisation is highly desirable. We are looking for a Test Manager who is not afraid to work in a hands on capacity, is able to lead individual projects or work items. You will get involved with the raising of defects, identifying test coverage and assessing the risks. You will ensure that the test arena runs to plan and escalate any issues in good time. You will be involved with the defect reviews and must be happy to perform the role of a tester should that be necessary . Previous experience of working in a client facing environment or within a consultancy is highly desirable.
